With Lincoln City having rejected two bids from League Two rivals Peterborough United for star player Lee Frecklington, we want to hear your views on the Imps' midfielder.

Is this the right time for him to depart Sincil Bank, or would the Imps jeopardise their survival hopes by letting him go.

Let us know what you think.

I would like Freck to stay with us at least till the end of the season. It would help us to hopefully stay up and it would at least give him first team games. Too many lower division players go off to higher leagues and end up being loaned out to lower division teams because they are not getting first team games.

I totally agree with Jean2311, it would be sad if he left now when we would dearly love him to fight the good fight. At then end of the day it would be upto the club who buys him to decide his future playing plans.

I think we should hang on to as many good players as we can. The only way we will move up a league and stay up is by keeping talented players. It is after all a football club not a breeding farm. Fair enough the income comes in handy but would it not be better to gain more income by moving up and grtting bigger crowds to watch quality football.

its the same old story every season. we get one or two players and we sell them. it is very hard to replace players which leave. we used to have the tallest defence and now we have one of the smallest. we also sold many more defenders and then we wonder why we are always letting in goals!! we cannot sell key players for lincoln!!
