Any plans to bring Hamza Bencherif back or are we now happy with what we've got at the back? I notice he played the full 90 minutes for Forest Reserves the other day.

I frequent Threads in Lincoln, which is in the Stonebow centre. It's a quality shop, which caters for all my needs. The brands doing it for me at the mo are Maharishi, Junk De Luxe, Seal Kay Independent and a couple more.

You can buy all of it in Threads.

Why do you ask anyway?

Nope, he's moved on from Wrexham. It's funny you should mention John Reames, because I was walking through town the other day and I saw him glide through the underpass.

I know he visits Lincoln City on the odd occasion, but apart from that I don't know what he's upto. I bet he is taking a few holidays here and there!

With papers moving into multimedia, we've all had to be trained in video. Of course, City Slickers includes Mark and I, so one of the lads off the desk will film it and put it together.

We are pleased to bring you a show of that quality, because we are always trying to give you, the reader, the best possible coverage of Lincoln.

To be fair, the club have been excellent in letting us film interviews which i film every Thursday in the press conference so praise must go to them.

We hope you all like it and I'm pretty sure that once we all get to grips with video, there will be other exciting projects in the pipeline!

There are no plans to bring Hamza back. He was very ill in January, which messed up the chances of Lincoln extending his loan, but I gather he has made a full recovery now.

At this stage of the season, I don't see any reason why it would be worthwhile to bring him back. With the emergence of Danny Hone it would not make sense.

Remember, Hamza was brought in to shore up a defence that was leaking goals.

Now that looks to have been sorted out, especially in the last few weeks.

So no, I don't think we will see Hamza coming back.

I just want to remind all Lincoln fans that there will be a special poster going in tomorrow's Echo in support of Peter Jackson.

It's been a difficult week for the Imps boss, after he revealed he was battling throat cancer.

Because of the fantastic job he has done, we've put together a double-sided poster to show that the fans, the city and the Echo are all behind him.

We would like you all to take one to the game against Macclesfield tomorrow and hold it aloft for the "gaffer" come kick-off time.

Hi Leigh.

Just like to say how good Lincoln coverage has become this season.

Have you heard anything offical about Bridges joining us on loan? I hear rumours about him all the time

Also do you think this will be the last season for Stalls and Jamie F? I still liked these 2 up front, but with Forrester kept being used as a winger and Satlls injuries, has time caught up with both of them?

You sported a lovely cardigan in a recent City Slickers show and I wanted to buy one as soon as I set eyes on it.

Thanks for the kind words, Phil. Although Lincoln are not the biggest club in the world, I believe they get the best coverage for any club in the country.

We have five pages every Monday, podcasts and video interviews.

As for your question about Bridges, I don't hold out much hope of him coming to Sincil Bank. He's already turned down moves to higher league clubs.

Lincoln did try to sign him last season, but that move never materialised because, as I understand it, he didn't want to come.

It just maybe the striking positions are looked at in the summer though, because as you say, time is creeping up on Mark Stallard and Jamie Forrester.

I tell you what though, they have been excellent in the last few games.

Why thankyou, Brian, although it was a jumper not a cardigan. It was a grey Junk De Luxe jumper. Do you want one?

Thanks for the reply, Leigh.

We haven't exactly stopped leaking goals, we are just scoring more than the opposition at the moment

Of course, you're right about Danny Hone. He does deserve a long run out in the first team and is, for me, potentially the best centre half we have had since Trevor Peake and that's saying something given our recent past ( and home-grown to boot )!

If Bencherif's surplus to requirements at the end of the season, I think he could be converted into a more-than-useful defensive midfielder given his physical presence.
It's certainly one area where we need some strengthening off-season.

I would like to see a couple of wingers brought to the club.

Cheers for earlier

Just wondering what you thought of Colemans comments that Lincoln are a big club at this level? Ok I accept we have a nice ground. But our attendance are no where near as big as the likes of Darlo, Peterbrough and Bradford. do you think that we will always be a lower divsion side.

Also not heard much of Championship 2010 in a while. Is this just a pipe dream now?

There is no question when Lincoln are doing well they pull in the crowds which have improved in the last few years. I just think Coleman's comments represent just what other people think about Lincoln, now.

Having a high-profile manager certainly helps. Being on Sky last season certainly raised the awareness as well.

Reaching the play-offs five years in a row has also helped raise the profile of the club.

I think Lincoln are going places, but there needs to be a lot of rebuilding in the summer. The squad size needs to come down and needs to have better quality.

If they can do that, and Jackson has already said he will trim the squad, then I don#'t see no reason why Lincoln can't go onto bigger and better things.

As for Championship 2010, I think the goal was to have Championship-standard facilities by 2010. In that respect, then they are on track.

I agree with the sky point. We were on more times then man utd one month. Crazy.

Away from Lincoln, what were your thoghts on Capello and England the other week. wasn't it nice to see us pass the ball around and not just hoof up to tthe forwards. Think he could turn us around and get us playing in a completely different way.

Hi Phil,

My problem with England is we very rarely play at the tempo that all of our players are used to in the Premiership.

Will Capello solve that problem? There is no doubting he is a good manager, but he will force our players to adopt a more continental approach.

I don't think our players are technically good enough to adopt such a style. There have already been reports that Capello's right-hand man has already issued his fears over the English game, because of the lack of technique.

Personally, I don't feel many of the international sides could handle the pace that we play in the Premiership, but very seldom do.

I would love to know the answer why.
