Hi Mark and all,

Sorry but I will not be able to join you on line this week as I have a previous engagement....... to go to Sincil Bank and watch the match live......

Will log on when I get home to see what you guys have been chatting about.

By the way Mark, can you please ask you oppo(Mr Curtis) if he has put his £2 to Bike to the Bank yet for the sponsorship he put on my daughters form...... You can always tell him no sponsorship money no more Bovril!

Lastly, the latest edition of City Slickers is the best so far.

Cheers

Good afternoon everyone and welcome to the Big Match Live.

It's glorious day at Sincil Bank, but enough about the weather, let's kick off with the team news.

Imps: Burch, Sinclair, Kovacs, Hone, Beevers, Clarke, Kerr, Frecklington, N'Guessan, Patulea, John-Lewis. Subs: Brown, Gall, Wright, Pembleton, Duffy.

So just the one change for the Imps with the fitness-again Rob Burch replacing Ayden Duffy.

Hi salford

I'll remind Curtis about that. He's a bit forgetful when it comes to money.
Hope you've enjoyed the game and that you're reading about a victory.

Hi imping_along

I'm going for a 2-0 Imps win. Patulea and N'Guessan the scorers.
What does everyone else think?

I have an update on Frank Sinclair's penalty from the Leicester game.
NASA sources tell it was last seen orbiting Mars, so keep watching the stars.

I almost forgot about the Morecambe team, so here it is.

Morecambe (4-4-2): Roche, McCann, Artell, Bentley, Adams, Hunter, Drummond, Stanley, Twiss, Howe, O'Carroll. Subs: Curtis, Wainwright, Parrish, McStay, Davies.

Yes it was, but at least he had the guts to go up and take one.

The teams are out on the pitch.

There's a decent crowd in with Co-op Stand filling up nicely, although it looks like the Morecambe fans have arrived in the same taxi.

Good news on team but whose this fella Kerrm? He sounds good. Romanian? Hungarian?

Afternoon to everyone.

I'm confident...

After both teams have a huddle, the game gets under way with Lincoln kicking towards the South Park Stand.

Peter Jackson is wearing his club suit which all the players must wear before matches too.
It's not great. Grey trousers and a dark jacket simply doesn't work.

We've had four minutes. Patulea has smashed a shot wide, it's been a promising start from the Imps.

Kovacs and Howe are both down after the former took the other out with a mistimed header.
But it's the Lincoln man who looks worse for wear.

The Imps have survived their first set-piece test as the recovered Kovacs heads away Hunter's corner. It fell to Stanley, who volleyed well over.

It's been an even start.

City respond as N'Guessan sees a shot deflected wide. A minute later, John-Lewis found himself in a good positon, but a good block took the sting out of the shot.

15 minutes gone, 0-0.

An amazing double chance for the Imps.
First Clarke was denied by Roche after racing clear, the rebound fell to Patulea, but his drive, with the keeper in no man's land, was blocked by Adams.
